Participants will discuss new approaches to multilateral Chernobyl cooperation and sum up the results of the United Nations Decade for the reconstruction and development of the affected areas. UNDP has implemented several large-scale environmental programs for 10 million dollars. Among the guests there will be representatives of the IAEA, the World Bank, the OSCE and the UN agencies. On the 30th anniversary of Chernobyl accident an exhibition opened in the National Library. The exposition presents documents about specific measures applied by Soviet leadership to overcome the disaster.
