On the eve of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day in Belarus, flowers will be laid at memorial signs and monuments, requiems and prayers will be held. Symbolic candles lighting and a mourning meeting in memory of the victims will take place at the Minsk Jewish cemetery, in the historical workshop and the Israeli cultural center. During the years of the German occupation, more than 800 thousand representatives of Jewish nationality were killed and tortured in the territory of Belarus alone. More than 320 ghettos were set up.
