The International Space Congress opens today in Minsk. Astronauts, scientists and representatives of national space agencies will discuss the development of world space research. The exposition dedicated to space exploration will be held at the forum’s central venue. Guests will get acquainted with the history of Belarus, its successes in the field of space research. Technical sessions on "Our future in space" will be held at the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. In addition, the participants of the congress will visit educational institutions of the capital. The General Assembly of the Association and the business sessions will be held on September 14. Then the participants of the congress will lay down the Alley of Cosmonauts in the Botanical Garden. More than 80 cosmonauts from 17 countries take part in the congress.
