The international media forum kicks off in Brest. The event will bring together journalists ans experts from 25 countries, including the United Kingdom, the U.S., Germany, Italy, Russia, and Hungary. More than 200 participants will discuss the media space and information security, the impact of social networks and the blogosphere on the public opinion and modern trends in journalism. Two-day discussions will take place at four venues. The second day of the forum will be devoted to the Summer School of Journalism.  Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the forum.
