Integrated home care system to appear in Belarus

An integrated home care system will appear in Belarus. The Belarusian Red Cross, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection will develop the concept. It will feature protocols aimed at care for wheelchair users, people with dementia, and people after a stroke. Relatives of Belarusians with chronic pathology are to be taught kinesthetics - the skills of professional care for people with limited mobility. The development of medical and social assistance in the country is caused by population ageing. More than 900,000 Belarusians are over 70 years old.
