Information and communication sector share in Belarus’ GDP could double by 2025

The share of the information and communication sector in Belarus’ GDP could double by 2025 and be at least 10%. This was announced at the Ministry of Communications board. Legal mechanisms have been created, the main of which is Decree No.8 «On the Development of the Digital Economy». Today, all industries are gradually moving toward a new level of development. According to the Information and Communication Technology Development Index, Belarus is currently 32nd out of 176 countries. This is the highest position among the CIS countries.
