The security of the country lies in the unity of the people, a strong domestic and foreign policy of the state, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said in his annual address to the Belarusian people and the National Assembly. The President outlined the priorities for Belarus in the near future and put emphasis on issues that require a solution right now. Thus, the Belarusian President commended the growth of exports, low inflation, rapidly expanding opportunities for doing business in the country, and turning Belarus into an IT-country. After the speech, the MPs asked the President their questions. Alexander Lukashenko spent over an hour answering them. The key themes were rental housing, allocation of land plots, the quality of roads, and education.
