Housing savings plans become available in Belarus

Housing savings plans have been available in Belarus since the beginning of the year. They allow citizens to accumulate a certain sum in a deposit and eventually use it to buy accommodation. In addition to interest on the deposit the plans include bonus incentives. All citizens can make use of the housing savings plans. Housing savings will also be inherited. Any banks in the country will be able to offer the new service. The Ministry of Construction and Architecture is convinced that housing savings plans will be popular with Belarusians.
