Honor Guard takes over watch to Day of Fatherland Defenders on Victory Square

Tribute to the heroes of World War II. For 35 years at the post number 1 on Victory Square, the honor guard takes over the watch. Four days a week in any weather, the best students of Minsk schools become members of the memorial squad. These guys in uniform have long been one of the brands of the Belarusian capital. The current post is dedicated to the Day of Fatherland Defenders and Armed Forces. Also in July, Minsk will host the traditional international gathering of posts No. 1 of Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
