Holy Week for Catholics

26.03.2018

The Catholics celebrate the Holy Week. From this day until the day of the Easter, the faithful catolics have a particularly strict fast, confession and worship. The central events of the pre-Easter week will be the Great Thursday, Good Friday and the Great Saturday, when traditionally the consecration of Easter foods begins. This year, the Resurrection will be celebrated by Catholics a week before the Orthodox, on the first of April.
