Today, the Holocaust Remembrance Week officially opens in Minsk. One of the main events is the exposition of paintings in the gallery "University of Culture" about the life of Jewish towns before and during the WWII. 19 oil paintings will be presented by Belarusian artist Yuri Krupenkov. The subjects are based on documentary stories. The paintings will be showcased in Grodno and Gomel. Especially for the exhibition, jointly with the UN, they prepared a limited edition of postcards with Jewish towns. They will be presented to guests of the exposition – representatives of Jewish communities of Russia, Ukraine and Israel.
