Health Ministry to improve program of early cancer diagnosis

Detection of early oncology stages and individual cancer treatment was discussed today at the National oncology scientific and practical center. Purchases of target preparations this year will grow by $10 mln. The medicines can destroy a cancer tumor point-wise, without a negative influence on adjacent organs. Notwithstanding intensive development of cancer screening in Belarus, 50% of the cases are detected only at final stages. The Health Ministry plans to improve the program of early cancer diagnosis.
