Health Ministry comments on simplified procedure of employment for healthcare professionals from Ukraine

It will now be easier for Ukrainian nationals who fled the war to get a job relevant to their qualifications at the medical institutions in Belarus. The Health Ministry issued a corresponding decree. It is enough to have an education certificate to be accepted for a position. Neither certificate of recognition in our country, nor internship certificate is required. The absence of a record of employment is also no obstacle either. However, in the absence of a degree certificate, Ukrainian citizens can only be accepted to the position of junior medical staff. Healthcare professionals with specialized secondary education will be hired as nurses in accordance with their qualifications. In the first six months they will be working under the supervision of experienced Belarusian medics.
