Head of State focuses on harvesting campaign's progress

In Belarus, the harvesting campaign is in full swing. Today the President of Belarus will hold a nation-wide teleconference. Heads of regions will report on the current progress to the President. The country has already secured the first million tons of grain. Over 13 percent of the total acreage has been cropped. South of Belarus is in the lead with the Brest and Gomel regions at the top of the table. This year, the weather has widely affected the harvesting campaign. Its start was delayed across the country due to heavy downfall. A total of seven million tons of grain are expected to be harvested. Ways to do it with minimal losses and on time will be discussed today at the highest level.
