Grodno welcomes the 20,000th visa-free tourist

A new record was set in visa-free Grodno. The regional center welcomed the 20,000^th tourist, a German citizen. The administration of the region congratulated the foreign guest and presented him some souvenirs. Since the expansion of the visa-free regime up to ten days, the flow of tourists has increase by 50%. It has given Grodno region considerable benefits, including economic ones. Since the beginning of the year, foreign tourists have spent $2 million in the region. New hotels and restaurants are being opened here, small business revenues have grown.
