Grodno and Podlaska regions to more actively develop trans-regional and tourist infrastructure

The Grodno region of Belarus and the Podlaska province of Poland plan to jointly fit out the trans-border infrastructure. The heads of the two regions agreed on that during a visit of the Polish delegation to Grodno. The two regions have been actively developing links over the last ten years. The visa free regime allowed it to boost the tourist sphere. The Augustow canal will be promoted under a joint Belarus-Poland brand. During the visit, the heads of the regions laid out a Boulevard of the Two nations' friendship.
