The history of international criminal law began with the Nuremberg Trials of the main Nazi war criminals, which opened in the German city of Nuremberg in 1945. To recall the results of this tribunal and to draw the right conclusions about how we should build our future is the goal of the II International Competition "Nuremberg Trial and Modern International Law", which started in Minsk. 16 teams from leading law schools of Belarus, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan compete in modelling the sessions of the International Criminal Court. The participants demonstrate deep knowledge of international law and legal skills, solving complex problems in the format of dynamic judicial debates. The winners will be announced on Friday.
