Fourth wave of COVID-19 arrives in Belarus

The fourth wave of coronavirus pandemic has arrived in the country. The delta strain is still present. The growing number of cases is associated with a seasonal increase in acute respiratory infections. Health care facilities are ready to receive infected patients. Of the 100,000 beds across the country, a third is reserved for COVID-19 cases. Most of them are vacant. Vaccination remains a reliable protection against coronavirus. More than one and a half million people have undergone the full vaccination course.
