Fountain season is over

Water pirouettes took a break until spring. The fountain season has come to an end in the capital. Most geysers were shut down last weekend. Specialists preserve equipment for winter; remove filters and pumps, repair pipelines and clean frames. The most beautiful and large-scale ones are on Independence Square and near the Opera and Ballet Theater. As early as in May, man-made geysers will be back in operation. There are 38 fountains under the maintenance of Minskzelenstroy employees. The conservation stage will last until the end of the year.
