Flowers brought to war monuments across Belarus ahead of Independence Day

Ahead of the Independence Day and the 75th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from the Nazi invaders flowers are brought to monuments to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War throughout the country. The day before carnations and roses from Belarusian public intellectuals, figures of culture and art were laid at the eternal flame in Victory Square in Minsk. Flower ceremonies were held at other monuments across Minsk. Dozens of representatives of various organizations and educational institutions of the cultural sphere will join the symbolic remembrance project today.
