Flame of Peace travels across Grodno region

The Flame of Peace continues its journey through the Grodno region. The torch visited one of the leading farms of Belarus - Progress-Vertelishki. Then the relay reached the Augustow Canal, a unique 19th-century tourist site. Accompanied by athletes who are engaged in Nordic walking, the "Flame of Peace" was taken to the Dombrovka flood-gate. The flame traveled by water, and on the pier at one of the bunkers from the times of the Great Patriotic War the cyclists picked up the torch. Today, the Flame of Peace will be delivered to Volkovysk. Torchbearers will carry it through the largest industrial enterprises of the town and visit the local Castle Hill.
