Fiber optic Internet to be universally available in Belarus by late 2019

The fiber optic Internet will come to every Belarusian home by the end of the next year. This was stated by the Minister of Communications and Informatization Konstantin Shulgan. Now special attention is paid to improving the quality of 4G connection. Mobile operators are ready to test the fifth generation networks. The number of public access Wi-Fi points will constantly increase. Now the Ministry of Communications is preparing changes on the limits of parcels received from foreign online stores. It is proposed to raise the duty-free threshold to $200 and 31 kilograms.
