Exotic fruit are grown in the Vitebsk region of Belarus. At a farm stay of the Chashniki district, traditional Belarusian cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers sit alongside calamondins, edible figs, tea trees. Most of the several dozens of plants adapted quickly to the warm house conditions. The fig turned out to be the most demanding. Yet, it brought its fruit, too. The harvest is expected in summer. Along with it, 300 kilograms of peaches are planned to be gathered in the garden.
