Exhibition project "The First..." dedicated to space explorers started at M. Savitsky gallery

The exhibition sections are dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the birth of the first cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin and World Aviation and Cosmonautics Day. Rare photo chronicles, documents, photographs and personal belongings of Gagarin, as well as a whole series of sculptural portraits of the cosmonauts of the world – created by People’s Artist of Belarus Ivan Misko. A separate section of the exhibition is dedicated to the work of the famous Belarusian artist, writer, ethnographer, folklorist, archaeologist, amateur astronomer and founder of Belarusian theoretical astronomy – Yazep Drozdovich. Young artists, students of the Smilovichi Center for Creativity named after Chaim Soutine, also presented their fantastic worlds with mysterious planets and their inhabitants, cosmic sunsets and sunrises, and projects of interplanetary spaceships.
