Exemption from work during medical examination

During medical examination, employee will be given a paid day off. Amendments to the Labor Code come into force on January 1, 2024. The number of days depends on the age of the employee and, accordingly, the risk of diseases. This opportunity will be provided to working pensioners 2 times a year. During the medical examination, the patient can undergo a complex of diagnostic and laboratory tests. In addition, recommendations will be given on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. If necessary, the health worker will offer to make an appointment with a general practitioner or conduct additional tests. Based on the results of the medical examination, the patient will be issued a document which will be the basis for paid exemption from work.
