Emergency committee at Council of Ministers checked system of prompt response

Command and staff exercise on management of nuclear accidents is held in Belarus. The Emergency committee at the Council of Ministers headed by the Prime-minister checked the system of prompt response. About 300 people are involved in the drill at the Ministry of emergencies testing ground. The experts trained emergency management, evacuation, fire extinguishing, and train collision response. Tomorrow, the drill will be held at the Belarusian nuclear power plant, according to the scenario – under high radiation. 15 representatives of the Emergency ministry of Russia with six pieces of equipment take part in the drill. Representatives of the Collective Security treaty organization and diplomats have been invited to the exercise as observers.
