Election campaign nears completion

The election campaign enters its final stage: candidates for deputies of local councils in Belarus continue their outreach efforts. The elections also provoke interest on the part of observers from Europe. OSCE PA special representative arrived in Belarus. The day before Kent Harsted met with the chairperson of the Central Election Commission and visited the Parliament. One of the central themes of the discussion is the improvement of the electoral process. Local elections will be held in Belarus on February 18, it will be possible to vote early from February 13 to 17.
