Election campaign-2025: CEC registered 5 candidates for President of Belarus

The campaign for the election of President of Belarus is held in accordance with the statutory deadlines. This was stated by Igor Karpenko during a meeting of the Central Election Commission in Minsk. Aleksandr Lukashenko, Oleg Gaidukevich, Anna Kanopatskaya, Sergei Syrankov and Alexander Khizhnyak have been registered as candidates for President of Belarus. The collection of signatures in support of the nomination of presidential candidates was held in accordance with the law, noted the CEC. No complaints have been received. In general, the campaign for the election of President of Belarus is going on in accordance with the statutory deadlines. 951 national observers have already been accredited at territorial commissions. Now the CEC continues accreditation of international observers — 93 people have already been accredited. Belarusians living abroad can take part in the presidential election. Citizens who came to our country from abroad will be able to exercise their constitutional right at polling stations in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno, Minsk and Mogilev.
