Drivers are reminded to change their tires for winter

Temperatures dropping below freezing are a signal for drivers to change to winter tires. Compliance with this rule is strictly monitored: driving on summer tires in winter carries a fine. The change of tires is required by 1 December. Incidentally, with the cold weather approaching, it's important to not only change tires: drivers should switch to a winter driving style.
