Draft concept of national family planning service can be ready by year-end

The draft concept of a national family planning service can be ready by the end of the year. This was stated by the Healthcare Ministry. A group of specialists from several ministries is working on the document. The main goal is to preserve the reproductive health of the population. After all, according to experts' estimates, by 2020 there will be 2 million 160 thousand women of reproductive age in Belarus, and in 20 years their number will be reduced by two hundred thousand. The new concept envisages the development of inter-district and regional perinatal centers, as well as sanitary aviation. A special helicopter module has already been purchased. Now the equipment is being installed on the helicopter of the Ministry of Emergency Situations. It will be able to transport both patients and quickly deliver teams of doctors.
