Belarus and Russia focus on close industrial cooperation, import substitution and joint projects. The countries are getting ready for the 10th anniversary Forum of Regions which will be held in Bashkortostan in late June. The day before, direct air service was launched between Minsk and Ufa. This is the result of the fruitful work of the governments of Belarus and Bashkortostan. For now the flights will be operated on Mondays. If passenger traffic grows, the airline will increase the frequency of the service. Russian regions are becoming closer to Belarusians. Regular flights between Nizhny Novgorod and Minsk have been launched recently. In April, direct air service will connect the Belarusian capital with Russia’s Perm.
