Database of large families to be launched in Belarus

A database of large families in Belarus will be launched on January 1 next year. This was stated by Minister of Labor and Social Protection Irina Kostevich. The Ministry of Internal Affairs will provide all the necessary data. Local authorities will update the information on each large family, of which there are more than 100 thousand in the country today. The new database will help make the transition from declarative to detecting principle in granting benefits. This will help ensure targeted character of the government family policy.
