Country's central New Year tree lights up

The country's central New Year tree met its first spectators the day before. This year the festive show is organized as an excursion to the "Magic World" with participation of New Year magicians from Australia, Finland and China. The fairy tale's effects are enhanced with 3D screens. Every year, as part of "Our Children" charitable campaign, the country's central New Year show provides a glimpse into the world of fairy tales to those who especially need attention on the eve of the holidays. Children from orphanages and large families are invited to take part. Anti-COVID measures are in place during the shows. By the way, the festive marathon at the Palace of the Republic will continue well into the New Year.
