Conscription rules in Belarus altered

Conscription rules in Belarus have been altered. The new joint decree of the Defense Ministry and the Healthcare Ministry is a detailed and comprehensive document, which defines whether a person is fit for duty. Now it includes some rare cases of disorders of the locomotor apparatus, musculoskeletal, endocrine, cardiovascular, and metabolic system, as well as eating disorder. According to the new rules, youths who underwent laser eye surgery are now fit for service. The rules concerning scoliosis have also changed. The changes in new decree are associated with advances in modern medicine. The government promises to treat every case individually.
