Plenary sitting of the Congress of the Russian Press will
be held today in Minsk. Issues which are topical for the Russian-language
editions abroad are in the center of the congress' s attention. After a
ceremonial opening, two panel sessions will work. Matters of globalization and
digital revolution will be discussed there. Along with the Congress, a
traditional media-forum «Partnership for the Future» will take place.
Representatives of mass-media outlets of 52 countries assembled at the forum.
Belarus is holding the event for the second time, after four years.
