Conference on sustainable development

A Conference on Sustainable Development «Strategies and Partnerships for Achieving the Goals of Sustainable Development» will open today in Minsk. The event will be attended by more than 250 people, including experts from Germany and Ukraine. Proposals will be developed for the draft National Sustainable Development Strategy until 2035, which will take into account the implementation of 17 UN Goals. In February, on the initiative of Belarus, Minsk already hosted a large-scale regional forum of national coordinators. Among the priorities are the elimination of poverty, combating inequality and injustice, and addressing climate change.
