Commemorative sign «To Border Guards Of All Generations» inaugurated in Minsk

A commemorative sign «To Border Guards Of All Generations» has been inaugurated in Minsk to mark the 100th anniversary of the Border Service of Belarus. It is located on the Tolbukhin boulevard near the office of the State Border Committee. Not far fr om here is a mass grave in the square wh ere dozens of defenders of the Fatherland fallen during the Great Patriotic War are buried, among them are 40 border guards. The author of the composition made of granite and marble is a famous Belarusian sculptor Gennady Buralkin who had created the memorial complex «Border Guard Warriors» in Grodno.
