A memorial sign dedicated to the special police unit was opened today in Minsk. It represents an eagle, which is the symbol of the unit. The opening was timed to the 30th anniversary of the special police unit, as well as to the Police Day. The commemorative sign appeared next to Minsk special police unit headquaters. Today, special police unit detains highly dangerous criminals and watches over order at public events.
