Cold weather to persist in Belarus until weekend

In Belarus, the coming night is expected to be -20°C with scattered snow, light snowstorm, black ice in some areas. In the afternoon the temperature will be from -7°C to -13°C. Cold weather will persist until Saturday. There will also be strong wind. On the weekend the frost will weaken, and the weather front from Western Europe will bring rain. According to weather forecasters, January in Belarus will be colder than usual, especially on Epiphany. As for precipitation, it will be higher than seasonal norm in January.
