Christmas charity event brings together children at Cathedral

A Christmas charity event brought together children from the regions affected by the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster in the capital city. 1600 children from 29 districts of Brest, Gomel, Mogilev, Grodno and Minsk regions arrived in Minsk. The program started at the Holy Spirit Cathedral. Performances by folk bands were prepared for children. The participants of the charity event talked with Metropolitan Veniamin, received a blessing and gifts of sweets. The kids also went to the Belarusian State Circus.
