31 years ago the most terrible catastrophe occurred in the history of nuclear energy. The President of Belarus will take part in the events timed to Chernobyl disaster day. Alexander Lukashenko together with his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko will visit the nuclear power plant and the nearest objects, paying the main attention to the work on maintaining radiation safety, and will pay tribute to the liquidators and the victims of the accident. Today, Alexander Lukashenko and Petro Poroshenko will hold talks on the territory of Belarus. The heads of state will discuss bilateral cooperation in the trade and economy, as well as political interaction, the international agenda and further efforts for a peaceful settlement of the conflict in the southeast of Ukraine.
