A memorial service for former President of Israel and Belarus-born Nobel Peace Prize laureate Shimon Peres is taking place today in Jerusalem, featuring a large number of world leaders. The UN headquarters has also hosted a memorial ceremony for Shimon Peres, attended by the UN Secretary General and diplomatic mission heads. Belarus was represented by the Deputy Foreign Minister. After the event, Valentin Rybakov made an entry in the book of condolences.
