The parliamentary election campaign is in full swing in Belarus, with 44 and 240 people registered as international and national observers respectively.Information about persons who have submitted documents required for being registered as parliamentary candidates is already available. 445 initiative groups are currently collecting signatures for the candidates. The nomination of candidates to the Council of the Republic of Belarus" National Assembly will begin in a week"s time.
