Census starts in Belarus today

The 3rd population census in the history of the sovereign state begins today in Belarus. This year, respondents will be asked to answer 49 questions. There are 644 census stations. The main innovation in the current campaign is that the questionnaires can be completed online. This will not only save resources and time filling out the census form, but also increase the quality and security. The online census will last until October 18. After that, census takers will begin their work. Belarusian statistics committee will provide the first information on the population in February 2020.
