The Palace of the Republic hosts traditional New Year celebration with participation of the President. The event is the culmination of the charity campaign Our children, and today it has collected more than 2,000 children. Among the participants of the solemn event are winners of creative and intellectual competitions, outstanding sportsmen. According to tradition, the President of Belarus made a congratulatory speech for the children. Alexander Lukashenko wished young Belarusians to grow up educated and cultured people, to multiply the national wealth and to make the world better and more beautiful.
