Board of Honorary Citizens opened in Vitebsk

The Board of Honorary Citizens was opened in Vitebsk. It contains photographs and information about the person and the year when the title was awarded. The list contains 57 names. These are people who have made a significant contribution to the development of Vitebsk, reached heights in professional and social activities. Among them are 12 Heroes of the Soviet Union, 7 Heroes of Socialist Labor, 2 Olympic champions, officials, coaches, teachers, military, workers. Also, Vitebsk now boasts memorial plaques in honor of two honorary citizens.
