Belarusian customs brought in 41% more income to state budget in 2015 as compared to 2014

Customs officers around the world are celebrating their professional holiday today. Belarusian customs officers have shared the results of their work and plans for the future. The amount of income received by the state budget has increased by 41%, exceeding 64.5 trillion Belarusian rubles. High performance has been achieved, including through the introduction of new equipment for scanning cargo at checkpoints. The successful experience is planned to be implemented at the Brest - Severny railway station, which will allow increasing its capacity and reducing customs clearance time by half. In addition, Belarus" customs is expected to switch to the automatic issuing of declarations later this year.
