Belarusian cardiologists and orthopedists have conducted a joint operation on elimination of both heart and chest defects for the first time. The thirteen year old patient was diagnosed Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. The pathology has led to the failure of the mitral valve of the heart, and formed a kind of funnel chest. The girl is now going through the rehabilitation period. Afterwards, she will be able to return to normal life.
