Belaruskali filed a claim in International arbitration against Lithuania

Belaruskali filed a full claim in International investment arbitration against Lithuania for its illegal actions, which violated the company's rights as a foreign investor protected by the agreement between the governments of the two countries. In early 2022, Lithuania stopped the transit of Belarusian potash fertilisers and unilaterally terminated the cargo transportation agreement with Belarus. In addition, the rights of the Belarusian side as an investor in the infrastructure of the Klaipeda port were violated. Belaruskali's claim will be considered in the framework of International investment arbitration.
