Belarusians getting ready to celebrate Epiphany

Doctors and divers are on full alert at all rescue stations where winter swimming is officially allowed. There are several such places in Minsk, e.g. Drozdy, Komsomolskoe Lake, Tsnyanskoe Reservoir. Most likely there will be no ice this year during Epiphany. Therefore, rescue stations will equip winter swimming sites with water stairs. Resuscitation teams will be on duty during mass dive. Doctors warn that before diving into cold water one needs to be well prepared: do a light warm up, and put on comfortable shoes to avoid injury.
